HELP! Looking for a book

Hi. This is my first time posting here and I thought this would be a good a place as any to ask this question. I am looking for a book that I took out from my elementary school library about 30 times. So many years have passed and now I don't remember hardly anything about it. I will try to describe it as best as I remember.
I don't remember the author. The book is about a general history of American trains/railroads. If I had to guess, I'd say it was published in the 60's or the early 70's. I started school in '75. It was a large size book, 300+ pages, with many B/W photos. The book had a dust jacket with a background color of light blue. On the cover was a close-up picture of one of the AeroTrains (like on the Pennsy and Rock Island IIRC).
I realize that this is not much to go on but it doesn't hurt to ask. I am tempted to go back to my old school library to see if the book is still there. I doubt it. Thanks in advance for your help and time.
