mexico and argentina

    Peter thank you for the information.
    It is a young childrens story.I really don't need technical info,even though I appreciate it.You sound like you know a lot of stuff.
    What I needed was a name for an Argentinian train that goes across the pampas.Deisel,type.i.e Santa Fe is BNSF,etc.The abbreviation if there is one.
    Then colour of said deisel,you mentioned red/white/blue.
    Then .....where can I get a picture of this,it will be needed for illustration purposes.This is an illustrated childrens book for very small train buffs.
    Sorry this is not technical talk.

  • Well, one famous train that goes across the pampas is the Old Patagonian Express, but it's pulled by steam and not diesel.
