Gardening and working in the yard. My latest project, this past week, was building a small arched footbridge which goes form a walkway on the side of the house to a stone patio which we built last month. It is now done, and this week is going to be a model railroad week!

Hunting, fishing, officiating high school football and wrestling, attending son's ice hockey games, gardening. I guess this is why my RR is still in the planning stage, although, there isn't an awful lot of planning going on.

Among others...photography, writing, reading, shotgunning, railfanning, and home repair.

When you have a house as old as mine, the last is more lifestyle than hobby!

I used to do a lot of mountain biking until we bought an 85 year old house. Now its working around a very different "ball and chain"...one that has a roof. I'm a "This Old House" junkie now. I also love hitting local antique auctions, after all why pay an antique dealer for something I can get at the same place he does for what he pays. It also beats buying retail. I also have a '71 Honda 600 minicar that I'm supposed to be restoring, its making very pretty rust stain patterns on the driveway. Oh Well.

Besides model railroading, toy train collecting and railfanning (which take up a good deal of time) I have a lot of other interests. I collect all kinds of antiques, junk and old stuff. I also enjoy reading, listening to music and writing (mainly scripts right now, but I do have ideas for a book once I have some more time). I also like to consider myself a history buff and am especially interested in WWII. I'm also into acting and am in high school drama every year.

Smoking, drinking Guinness, and listening to Rock music, all of which I can do whilst Railroad and Railway Modelling.

Also military history and modelling, History in general, pipe smoking, watching comedy and documentaries on TV, collecting LP's and CD's, drinking coffee (which I am an expert at), food, watching live bands, Monty Python bore, board games, crosswords, wargaming, Lord of the Rings and Star Trek nut, surfing railroad sites and forums on the internet (when Yahoo decides to work), book collecting, rummaging round junk shops, and watching Sunderland AFC.

Oh yes, keeping my wife, son and 6 cats entertained.

Carpentry and woodworking (handy for benchwork and knowledge in building scratch structures), stamp collecting, golf, and music (I play trumpet). These are my current ones. I have a dozen others I dabble in from time to time.
