Well like most others, went to Train show here in Indianapolis and was HOOKED on the N gauge layouts. Now I'm ready to get started on getting started!

Can anyone recommend one brand track over another (had planned one atlas)? But there are so many.

Also what the heck do all those gauge #'s mean? 55,100 etc. i.e "i use 100 on main line and 55 on turn outs"...........

The only real thing I'm sure of is my layout WILL have a roundhouse.......please recommend a high quality one that will do it all. Prefer a fully assembled one. The Atlas one looks kinda cheap.

and yes I will use DCC luv the tecno stuff.

Thats the extent of my plan so far......I will prob. join a club and hit some swap meets to learn more.

Thanks for your help.
