Hi guys, I've recently bought (new) a Proto 1000 F3A+B unit (both powered) When running these units there is quite a noticable noise at times that sounds like gear backlash. Both units do it. I have stripped the model down and added a litle lubrication to the gears, motor and axles. This has made no difference at all. Now I'm thinking it maybe a vibration from the elecrtical pick-ups that sit over the axle bearings?
Can any one help? I can't take the model back as I have already modified it with close fitting KD's.

Jim.
