OK so the old code 100 New Haven track is gone.(oh the horriblenessof my tracklaying.) the new layout will be a 4x8, code 83, guilford RR set in the mid 1990's, somewhere in northern CT. im gonna do it right this time-- i have a good trackplan with several industuries, a loco already picked out, and i know that i want to model granular bulk(asphalt), petrolloium, some boxcar- based industury, and mabey a bulkhead flat- based industuty. (lumber mill if i can fit one in.) (bulkhead flats look cool empty.) if anyone has some tips on how to make my mistakes original, details about the guilford RR, the industuries i want to model, i really need some suggestions on ballast, (store bought mixed with beach sand?)(how do you spray dilluted glue without getting it on the rails?)websites or books that could help, anything. thanks in advance GEARHEAD426
