Back in the late 80s when I started getting back into model railroading, I lived in a small apartment and didn't have a lot of room, so I built a small 3 X 4 foot N scale layout with a handle on one side that I could carry around and store where ever I had room for it (most of the time under the bed). Everything was glued and pinned down to the surface, and I had storage boxes mounted to the ends to hold my engines and rolling stock. I was really proud of myself at the time because I felt it was really unique.

trainluver1
