When Amtrak runs with MHC's (Material Handling cars) on the rear, they usually have an End of Train device (FRED) with flashing light. Are these mounted on the coupler, as freight trains are, or are they somehow attached to the rear of the car? I'm modelling an Amtrak train and want to put a working EOT indicator on the MHC to be the last car, but not sure how it should look.

Thanks in advance for any info.
