Lucky me. My birthday is not until tomorrow, but we celebrated on Sunday. My wife surprised me with a beautiful Canadian National GP-7 /w DCC encoder. It's in original Green and Gold colours, road number 1706. I was blown away. It is the version with the braking extension on the top of the shell. Made by Atlas, and I love it! I immediately cleared the tracks of all the foam, tools and other random construction clutter, and ran it...bringing all contruction to a halt for the last half of the day yesterday. It ran smooth as glass. My plans for those few hours were suddenly in shambles. Nothing like operations to bring contruction to a halt.[:p] I just wanted to share my joy with you guys, because I told some guys at work who aren't train enthusiasts and they're reactions were less than enthusiastic. Only my model railroading friends will appreciate...and share my joy. Woot!!! Trevor[:)]
