Good morning Fellas!! I am on my way out to a cool indoor tag sale with toys hopefully trains. Anyway As you guys know I have cut and spread my layout open exactly 33" wider. I spent a couple of hours last night reconstructing that area and I have before and after pictures. I love the cork roadbed I am using, runs so much quieter and smoother. Here are the pics Let me know what you think.

Just before I separated it all. Click onto to the pictures to see them at regular size.

I added this section with the roadbed notice in the mirror but no track yet

Ok so I added the track now and trains run perfect. Also notice that I used chicken wire for the river to be area. Then I covered it with plaster cloth. Two Sd90MAcs running through nicely

A closer image of this area. If you want details on how I did the blocks underneath and everything let me know.

This is the final work achieved last night. The big changes here is that you notice the blue color sky painted below that new section. Well The cool idea I have is my Programming track will go back to this same area but I will Scenic it up to look realistic too. The program track was always located down that area but hard to see what you were doing and all, but not now. I will also ballastthe track too. Well how am I doing so far. You can notice the big changes with the gap between the two backdrops from the first picture to this last one
