Hey guys. This weekend was surely off the hook!! I had the greatest time. I often tell people that this time of year I get the same exact feeling that I used to get when I was young and Christmas was weeks and days away. Its that great!!

Ok So I am a member of the Mohegan and Pequot Model railroad club and we arrived in Springfield on Thursday night to get up early Friday to set up our Layout. If you were there this weekend we were in the Young Building and I was the Black guy wearing a red sweater and alot of Bling Bling with two Tags with "BIG AL" I did get to meet alot of guys who saw the name and immediately knew who I was and it was cool.

On Saturday the turnout was 10,000+ people. On sunday the total for the weekend was announced at 16,900+ People. I was able to see a good friend of mine Paul Cuttler and the guys from His club South Shore RR Club. Paul you are so cool!!

I made a few good purchases
1. Soundtraxx 820041 decoder for the Athearn Genesis SD70M with the speaker was a total asking price of $122 I haggled the hell out the guy until he agreed to $97!! I was happy then.
2. I got a Athearn Genesis SD70M BNSF silver and red for $25 assembled
3. A Athearn GEnesis Union Pacific SD70M Union PAcific RTR for cheap at $35
Those were my major purchases and I got other minor things too.

The deals there overall were so bad guys!! Very sucky deals. I will not lie. You honestly could do much better all day long on Ebay. Here is a great example, Everyone was selling those Athearn Genesis SD70M and Macs and all genesis for $95+ On ebay they sell new for at most $80. There were very litle deals. Tony from Tonys Train was a short little MR Know it all know nothing Snob. I did not like his attitude towards some of the customers there. I was just watching him deal with them and got mad. SO to investigate his attitude further I asked about the Soundtraxx decoder that he was selling for $114 and could he do it for $110 and "he got that attitude and said his prices was the best there and that is the best he could do. And when I said a guy was selling the same one for $111 in the Stroh Building he got mad and told me to go to him. So I did of course and came back and had to prove it to him. I put it right in his face and the price was there $111. He was real pissed then.

I met alot of nice guys who just were there selling things and displaying their club layouts. I stood out a whole lot. I was wearing a red sweater, Alot of Gold Necklaces, gold Wathc and bracelets, Baggy Clothes, and a bit darker than the rest. I have a good attitude and a very cool guy so I made all around me very comfortable. I love talking with people. I spoke to alot of people when they came over to our layout display in the Young building next to where they were holding the Clinics. Here are a handfull of pictures from the weekend. Enjoy

This is my clubs layout and the big guy with the beard is Bill Evans a member in my club also. everyone was thinking he is my dad. They all called him my old man. Funny huh

This is a club in Mass. They were very nice and all. That engine there cost $15,000!! Way too much for my blood.

This display was in the Stroh Building and it was good looking too.

Just a random picture I took in the Stroh building. That guy with the red hat is a member from my club too.

This Nscale club is out of New york and they had a nice diplay. One guy had a jar of fingers over his module stated they are the fingers they cut off if you touch his module.

Here are the fingers

This is me as we are packing up to leave on Sunday.
