What To Do While Watching The NHL Playoffs

I 3d model my next train buildings on the computer.  I care more about the wins for teams that will impact Chicago's future draft picks.   I miss the 2010-2015 seasons With the Blackhawks. I attended many of the playoff games.  2 of the players were neighbors on my street.  

I didn't restart model railroading till fall of 2015

I was painting one 3d printed building when I found out Kane was  traded to NYR.  In the decorative relief flourishes on 3 floors of the facade I created 3 stanley cup outlines.  I'll be showing that project soon

Drink good beer and ballast track.  That way you can still watch the game because ballasting only takes a couple of brain cells.

And spell check changed ballasting to Ballantine.

It's a skill: When  the crowd gets excited, you take a quick peek at the screen to see what's going on. I rarelly miss a goal while doing something else!

Unless it's your team on foreign stadium. Most announcers don't to celebrate on the away team goals. 

 

I watched Stars vs Wild and Islanders vs Hurricanes. Mute commercials and watch some YouTube or look for things on the web. Bring back volume when the game returns.

What a coincidence, now that you mention it. Last night I was watching Kings at Oilers. As a German, I hope that the Oilers and Leon Draisaitl take it all. What did I do during the commercial breaks? Checking out brass dealers for their latest offerings in Santa Fe items. Well, I did not come up with anything of interest, but at least the Oilers won.

I've not seen that technique mentioned before.  Are the limbs brittle after the plaster?

Why make Aspen and Poplar trees of course.  When done these will be dipped in a soup of plaster of Paris and then painted. The hard part is gluing all those HO-scale leaves on.
