John,

What did you use for tires?

Thank you,

Richard

That load was included with the car when I bought it. There are two different sized tires and there are separate molded plastic sheets for each size. If I remember right, there are three layers for each size.

The latest additions to my roster. Three 50' Santa Fe ice cooled reefers.

The camera angles make it look like there are 40' reefers in the mix, but they are all 50'.

More freight cars at industrial sidings, please.

It’s gone a bit quiet here, so either another load or something associated with 1.

Cheers, the Bear.Smile

More Ore or Coal please

The Erie runs a coal train with trackage rights over a portion of the NYBW. Here it is passing through Bedford Falls.

The month is still young. We can stay with coal and ore for a while.

Ore Jennies play a big role on my layout.  TF loads 'em — I unload them.

Found a new Minnesota company that sells ore car blanks.

At 20 for 80 bucks!, all my trucks get replaced with MTL short shanks anyways.  And at four bucks a pop, they'll be fun to paint and detail.

More open-topped freight cars please.  Regards, Peter

A string of empty 2-bay hoppers lettered for my home road. They have just replenished the coaling tower at the main engine terminal and are read to be picked up by the empty coal train to be taken back to the coal mines.

More open top freight cars, loaded or empty.
