So how about this?

It's a Walthers heavy depressed flat kit, custom painted (rattle cans), some brass and copper pipe fittings covered with a tarp (see my thread "How to make HO scale tarps, tie downs, and blocking?" To see how I did it) and thread tie downs.

I'm going to "decal" it tomorrow, Tuesday at the latest.

What do you guys think?

 Afternoon Diners

 Flo, drinks are on me.

Day off have a pile of tree leavens that are tall than my Towncar and just as long I will add. Took me around 2 hours using my chain saw and saws all. Had a small lunch on the front pourch (think it was the first time I ever ate out there in 25 years) and started to clean the gutters.

Woman SoapBox I was up on the ladder cleaning out the front gutters. Wife comes out with the phone glued to her ear. She says "Sparkie need to go out right now he bugging like he needs to pee !" I look at her like shes nuts and say "But Sue I am cleaning the gutters, call your friend back when he is done!" She said "No, I want to finshes my conversion!". Bang Head Bang HeadBang Head Bang Head Bang Head Bang Head

So I got down off the ladder, took Sparkie The Rocket Dog out and said screw it and came in to drink Beer Guess my wife does not know how to do Redial! Bang Head

Afternoon folks!

Went from way too hot last week to a bit too chilly for the start of this one.  got up this morning and switched from Air Conditioning to Heat for my kitties....  (Well I didn't mind getting the temp up above 65F myself.)  It was 48°F outside when I got up this morning.  All the way up to 58°F at the moment.  Fall has fell upon us!

No clock in the Shorpy bar but a lot of cigarrette butts on the floor

You didn't scroll the photo all the way over to the Right did you.  Yep, there is a clock in the photo.  MLC ,  I thought it was 4:00 on the nose.  I didn't find the card though.

Put on one of my almost new suits for church this morning (one that I bought last February) and found it is way too large for me already!  Now if it was the other way around I would have been ticked off, but this way I could do some bragging.  The suit fit me perfectly back 30 lbs ago but now the pants fall down unless I use the suspenders with it.  The coat I can pull out about 6 inches from my stomack.  I will be taking a trip to the place I bought it in hopes they can refit it for me as that is the suit I want to wear to my 50th reunion at Eastman School of Music a month from now.  If they can take the pants and coat in to look decent I will then take over the 3 piece one that was tailor made for me.....  It does remind just how much different I look now than I did just 6 months ago......

Oh, and for those with Lady problems in your life, both young and old, this is for you:

Here's my load for my heavy flat.

Thats only one half of it. It's going to be symmetrical and covered by a tarp but you get the idea.

Please post whether its Ante-Meridian or Post-Meridian too!

Afternoon all from a sprinkly West Coast.

Okay now, no cheatin. Without going back and looking at the (Shorpy) photo, what time is it in the bar???? Just remember honesty is like pregnancy and there is no such thing as being a little bit pregnant.

First to respond with the right guess WINS nothing.

The wife bought me a rather large bottle of Rum today. She will do anything to have her way with me.Smile, Wink & Grin Unfortunately the usual crowd is on its way and by the time they leave we will both realize how old we are.Laugh

Getting the trailer ready for the wife to stay in at a dog show coming up starting Thursday. I'll take her out Wednesday and go get her Sunday night and then tuck the trailer away for the winter. It is about an hour and a half away so she prefers to just stay at the show and yak with all her doggie friends into the wee hours.

I either have to start eating more or exercise less. I was up seven gooey pounds and now I am down ten from that. That was easy is all I can say, the Rum will even things out a bit. I spend an extra 3 hours on the bike for a week or so and WHAMO! I think I will be spending more on groceries as I am lovin the double time on the bike.

I see the first of my fellow Rum drinkers have arrived so I better go crack the seal and start pouring.

All the best to all.

I'm afraid Tinplate that it actually was you back on page 7. Something about your wife scolding you and receiving good advice. As for you, Steven, if we have to get off the subject of marriage (which is different than the taboo subject of religion). then we don't need to hear about your fatal attractions to girls and cars.

OK...  I think this explains the situation!

And for everybody else:

So, lets be nice to each other and have fun guys!

Nothing wrong with talking about marriage, I was just saying let's not get into a religious firefight. So if you guys want to talk about marriage go ahead, I ain't married so it doesn't concern me.Laugh

Let me make sure that I say this in no uncertain terms.

I said and I quote, "let's get off the topic of religion"

So did the word marriage get substituted into that sentence somehow?

Carry on with your marital discussions if you wish.

 Eveing Diners. Sigh

Flo, get the gang and I a Beer, Ulrich, Rick and Steven what they like.

Today did not go the way I hoped for. Sigh With all of the Storm Storm the roof started to leak again and in all places the Wifes Closet and second Bedroom acting as my wifes I want to keep everything I ever owned room! Leaks where small but my wife acted like We are all going to die!

My Son inlaw was going to come over to help tarp the roof. Daughter decided to hire a local Handy Man instead and she paid for him to help. He cut off any limbs that where touching the roof, tar patached what he could and charged only $200.00. He blew all the junk off the roof that was turning into dirt, smelled like potting soil.

Only good thing he said about the roof? Well he did not fall through but he is guessing 50% of the plywood needs to be replaced.

Bright Side is my Wife threw away a bunch of junk! She is a horder as was the rest of her family. Only made a small dent but it is a start! Big Smile

Or some sort of coin-op dispenser.

Perhaps I could get a hint?

Let's get off religion and back to trains.

Actually we were talking about celibacy and marriage.  In some cases those are the same thing.  Big Smile

Rain all day today and tomorrow.  Got some ground foam down, but like everything else in my basement, nothing dries quickly.
