This one is from the BRVRR archives, 2004 or 5 maybe: An accident on Route 32. Not much apparent damage.

Herer is a covered hopper I spotted on the Virginia Museum of Transportation's Lionel layout.

I gather by the time the holes were cut in the gondolas side, the cement containers were permanent fixtures.
Just a quick note: Gondola's in cement service like the one pictured, had stencil's all over them "demanding" that unloader's NOT cut hole's in the car.
