hon30critterI feel like Anne Landers! The older guys will recognize the name.
Hey, I'm not that old.
Richard
I've been so Busy lately,
Working Late and preparing to take my Comptia Hardware 901 Exam, it's exhausting!
I'll keep you updated on that.
On the Trainfront, I purchased three sets of brand new Athearn RTR Maxi III TTX Well Cars from PWRS (Pacific Western Rail Systems) and need a stand alone Maxi 56' TTX Well car to carry the FRED.
I have the first three product numbers from this flyer;
" width="150" height="200" />
What do you guys think? Pretty sweet looking cars huh?
3 sets = 15 + 1 stand alone car = a 16 car train.
At some point, I'll get 48' containers for them
Just need my pair of Athearn Genesis SD70M-2 Demo's to pull them!
well I gotta get ready for work, more infromation later.
ATSFGuy Out....
Fresh makes all the difference in steak tartare, seafood and corn.
Garry nice looking fox. All ours have mange, and two of them have bare tails. The was a piece on TV about Western MD bear having mange, and the pics were of totally bald bears.
I did see a blonde shaggy haired fox in Yellowstone, he walked right by us 4' away. I asked the rangers about it, but they didn't know what kind of fox it was.
Steven There is a pattern repeating itself between your kitbashing and your dating.

This weeks' Ozark Railroad ad was for a depressed center floor flatcar for $960,000. The S2 speeder is more in my budget, it even ran when they parked it 12 years ago. $6,000

Captain Spock, thanks for the compliment on my bridge shoes...
Oh, and Richard I'm definitely old enough to remember Ann Landers, just never took any of her advice though!
"There are always alternatives, Captain" - Spock.
LOL.... that is funny. I did it. I posted it. I admit it.
Yep last night was our Friday night Cowboy Jack's night. I must admit after I got home I may have became one beer short of a six-pack.
I would have to state in my defense though, I may not have been too far off. Spock was a Vulcan. Vulcans live longer than humans. With that green blood and all, Spock would take a licking and just keep on ticking.
If the show would have aired long enough eventually Captain Kirk would have died and Spock would have taken over, becoming the Captain
Have a great weekend Captain Spock .... Track fiddler
PS I have not seen your roof tiles on your last station awning. I will go look for them.
der5997 Train Front: final station awning extensions nearly roofed (just the ridge cap on the small section to do.) Then they will be painted for the roof colour and the supports glued inside. (note to self - check that the support legs are all the same length...) Photos in due course - but here's the worksite this morning.

I found it
I see you do some tedious, fine detail microsurgery too.
Looks great. It takes people with patience to enjoy scratch building.... Nice!
PS I as well am looking forward to seeing your work when it's all complete. It's going to look great.
Eveing Diners
Flo, give the gang and I a please and give Rick and Steven what they like.
Work Front It was a Ok day with $1150.00 in sales, 3 years ago that would have sucked. Ok, it still sucks! I Feel like Captain Smith on the Titanic and Gilligan is my first mate!
Train Front Well I have had better nights! Seems one of my 10-1-4 cars does not like a Bachmann passangers cars and comes uncoulped in the 13 foot tunnel when pulled buy my BLI M1a. But, when pulled by my Protro 2000 PRR SD 7 it not a problem? Strang part is the uncoupling is happening 4 cars from the engine? Some times model trains are as strange as life.

Evening diners,
I've got a sunburn from being out in the sun all day.
Mowed about 70% of the grass I'll finish tomorrow.
Dave, Henry, thanks for the encouragement, I guess I'm nervous about the possibility of messing it up and losing her as a friend, well I'll have to just take that chance I guess.
Weird thing is just when I start thinking she likes me she clams up and stops talking as much, and then she'll start talking more again, is she playing "hard to get" or she's just tired or something?!
And then she has used "fam" and "bro" when addressing me, I looked it up and it could mean that I'm in the "family zone" or she could just be using those terms for no particular reason.
Oy, what a mess!
I'll ask her out to coffee when she starts talking a bit more, it'll probably be sometime later this week. And I'll see how it goes!
I got some more supplies for my kitbash, and the eBay stuff has shipped.
Steve
If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough!
Heartland Division CB&QA very young fox was sleeping on our deck when we awakened this morning.
Garry - That is neat. Are you in the country or is the little guy an urbanite?
We had a fox living under our cottage for a couple of years. She got pretty close to us on occassion but we never attempted to approach her. She even let her kitts come out when we were there. I love when things like that happen.
Dave
I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
