I recall it was SP crews who used the nickname "Cadillac" for an SD9 because the units road smoothly. 

My roster includes 8 CB&Q SD units. (2 black SD7's, 1 red SD7, 1 black SD9, 2 red SD9's and 2 red SD24's. )

Below are 3 SD9's and 1 SD7.

There are some impressive models of cranes, etc. being posted. 

Here is an ugly little crane used to pick up spills at the coke even.

One crane, coming up.

Made the canvas roll-up tarp's on the side's from tissue paper. Lightly spray painted them with Testor's Africa Mustard Yellow.

Foothill Steel is a small distributor located in the north end of town. It uses this crane to unload railcars and load trucks.
