This NYC wide vision caboose is an Athearn BB kit. I modified it some by applying .005-inch clear styrene for window glazing and installing metal wheels and lighting.
More cabooses/ cabeese please.
Remember its your railroad

Here is another scene from the Scale Rails of Southwest Florida N-Trak modular layout with a building on fire and first responders on the scene.
This seems like a good theme for a while.

This is cheating, but here are some compressed gas vessel cars on the Florida Lego Modeler's layout:
I love the NPR container in the foreground of this picture. One has to consider all the things that could be in there. If it is empty you might say it is full of fresh air. Maybe it is full of the morning edition. Wait Wait... don't tell me... it is probably full of splendid things for the table.
OK that is enough of that (for now).
Since I cheated, we will keep the same request in place. Please show me more unusual freight cars.

I don't post many pictures of my prototype equipment, but I really love the way the weathering turned out on this boxcar. It is built from a Life-Like Proto 2000 kit and has Kadee trucks and couplers. I also replaced the stirrups with something different from Details Associates.
Please show me another perfectly ordinary freight car.
I ship a lot of produce. The most common cars on my railroad are refrigerated box cars. Reefers....
Please show me the type of cars that you have the most of.

Nice "reefer" car!
Currently it is this car. I have eight of these. I have 10 of my "standard" boxcar in the paint shop right now, so soon this one will no longer be the most common.
It is kind of the STRATTON & GILLETTE equivilent of PACEMAKER service.
I am out of decals for this one, so I can't paint any more.

OK, lets see if I can find one I painted and lettered myself... OH wait, that would be all of them!
This is the standard STRATTON AND GILLETTE paint scheme on Pullman PS-1 boxcars. I have six of these done, ten more awaiting decals or paint. I love the Kadee PS-1 kit.

I painted and decalled LW coach MEC 244, also painted the interior to match the protype
Also GP7 MEC 572 was non-dynamic with a steam generator so it could be used in passenger service. Started as an undecorated kit; I added details, paint and decals

SeeYou190Whistling Nice "reefer" car! Nifty caboose Lone Wolf! Certainly not ordinary.
Thank you fro your kind comments. that is one of my favorite reefers. Also, I have three of those railroad police cabooses. They usually go on intermodal trains or with auto carriers. Them and one MoW caboose is all the cabooses that I have, except for one old timer V&T.
So anyway, here is the only custom painted and decaled car I have, a insulated box car lettered for Turtle Creek Central.
Please show me any car you wish.
