need a good color mix for painting rail

I just moved and as a result my layout is packed up and broken down to where the track and ground cover is all that's on the benchwork. I figured it would be an ideal opportunity to do what I should have done to start with: paint the track.. Of course, I'll have to tear it up and then re-lay it afterwards. Problem is, how do you get a good color mix? What brand/colors/ratios should I use for a nice, weathered look? Also, is there a way to spray the ties and rails separate shades, or should I even worry about that? Oh yeah, it's all snap track and flex. <br />Thanks!
