Bachmann (UK) announces the release of a new line of 009 scale narrow gauge equipment, starting out with the War Department class 10-12, a 4-6-0 tank engine, which saw service in the trenches of France during WW I.

More info to be found here!

OO9 scale is 1:76, running on 9mm track, resembling 2 ft. narrow gauge.

This video shows the loco in action in France (about 5 min. into the film)!

With Minitrains just having released the German counterpart, you can now model a true WW I battlefield railroad!

I wish Bachmann (USA) would pick up the lead and release a On30 model of this loco!
