so the other day i was working on cleaning the wheels on some old athearn cars that had the trucks with real springs in them. not one of the trucks for some reason every time i was trying to put the wheel set back in would come apart and the little springs would go shooting out. now i was doing this in my living room and we have carpet there so i figured that those were gonners. earlyer that day i had been playing with some rare earth magnets out of a old hard drive. me and my brother figured that it could not hurt to go get those and comb the floor. after only like 2 minits we managed to find both of the lost springs! this truck must have had a slightly bent peice b/c it took about 6 more trys before i got it all together with out shooting off the springs. but for all those times that they did get shot off i managed to find them with the rare earth magnets.

i was really impressed and thought that some one here might be able to benifit from this. i dont really know where you can get rare earth magnets, i have seen them at electronics flea markets before, but those like the ones i had came outa used hard drives. i know i'll at least keep some of these handy. hope this can prove helpful for soemone
