Its been I while since I've last talked about progress on the AS&N (Allentown Scranton & Northern), right now I'm very close to putting up plywood, after that we'll set up a loop of track to run a couple tracks around for a few weeks then we'll start laying the track itself, I've changed the trackplan a bit. I hope to finish laying track by the end of summer and have some scenery up by next year. We're using 22 inch radius cures (we could have done 24 but that would be too close to the edge of the layout, since I'm modeling a prototype line under a fictional name I've decided to remove any unprototypical things from the trackplan so I can run CP, CR, and NS equipment if I get tired of running AS&N stuff. A couple freinds and I (both are modeling fictional PA railroads) have decided to combine the railroads holding companies a (but keep the railroads names and paint scheme). I've also been working on an enhanced paint scheme after getting tired of the tiny "ASN" on my first scheme, here's what this will look like:

ASN

It will also have the words "Allentown Scranton" above the ASN and "and Northern" below it.[:)]
