I have read a considerable number of Forum entries but have been unable to answer the following : Will Proto 2000 36" wheels operate properly if used to replace the plastic wheels in IHC 's latest Heavyweight, Smooth Side and Corrugated Passenger Cars. I have quite a number of the cars and would like to upgrade them, as I live in England I do not want to import a bulk order of wheels unless I know they will run OK. I have tested P2K's 33" wheels which are fine for axle length but are too small, the axle length on Intermountain and KD's is too long. ?[?] I would be very grateful for any info. Does anyone know the best source for a bulk order ?
