Hey guys I'm back again.
Turbo Timster: How are the decals for those RSD's coming along.
***: I live on spicy foods so I wont matter how spicy they are. In fact I'll take 6 to go. Oh and i just about forgot thanks for the milkshake, remember deep fried of course.
Well I'll be back in a little while guys.

Good evening clubbers, large smoothie with blueberries, strawberries, and cherries to go. [dinner]

Hey Mitchell good to see you back, how are the fried foods treatin' you. Glad the storm missed. Trains other than playin' are on hold, new job, and recovering from all the rain. Spent more time trying to stay dry then trains.

Had a terrific birthday weekend, did get to F units with DCC, so now I have 3. Guess I have to start wiring the whole layout.

Had a guy say get a frankenstien controller, one side DCC, one side DC then I can run any trian on the layout with no problems. Had to ask what the controller was, fell for it hook, line and sinker. Guess I forgot my old movies.

*** how did you come out of the storms this weekend ?

Teffy, love the turntable, it looks great. But so does the pink box and hat.

Take care all,

Tim

Morning All!
I greet you all, the OFC, the new visitors, and everyone I forgot ! [:I][(-D]
BOLUSSEN from the bakery across the square on me:

don't be scared it is not what it looks like! [:0]
we EAT these, [:I] it is baked [C=:-)] of a bread-ish dough, covered with syrup and brown sugar, very sweeet !

With the rate of visitors to the coffeeshop it's rather turning into a coffee mall !

Just a bit MR going on lately, Have been sketching planns for the layout, found out I need more space for it DUH like I could not see that coming,
Also had to do some repair work on my son's Tommy his Chipwood Central layout, after the two 6 months old catzilla's paid a visit to it and ripped out some wiring [:(!]

At last have had our share ( very little ) of the white stuff I read about so much
Last week and weekend, some 10 inches of it fell, and as outside temperature was around freezing the whole week it actually stayed white for at least 6 days.
Normally the stuff turns into NATTE PRUT [xx(] ( that's dutch ) in a few hours, but not this time.
Tommy really enjoyed it, as he only saw snow overhearer one time in his life ( he is 8 now ) It was a weird week, wheaterwise as temperatures dropped to -4 F, never happened in Holland in March.
all the muck is gone now, and it seems we are going to have spring next weekend ![8D]

Teffy:
I see the pink box turned up at your side ! Hat looks good on you! [:o)][:o)]

Wow, this really is a busy shop. Seems I just e-mailed a message around nine P.M. and by 6:00 A.M. there were six new responders. That's great and speaks well of the comradeship between MRs all over the world. Lots of exchanges of personal anecdotes which lends a warm, "homey," provencial touch to this thread. Lol twhite, perhaps Arnold should look into the returns of a bathroom staionery tax before California "bottoms out?" Best regards.

Lupo: Looks like Cinnamon Roll to me. And I do get scared when I look at them. I eat one and the rest just follow[%-)]I haven't figured that one out yet!

And yes the hat does look good on Bob! Just imagine what a touch of blush, eye shadow and lipstick could do to enhance the "look"[xx(]

Anyway I digress. I' have to admit I'm disapointed with the photos as they seem "blurry". I think in the future I'll be using a tripod and brighter lighting as the flash is washing everything out.

Tim: Forgive me as I forgot to wish you Happy Birthday. So I insist you have have Lupo's offerings! No it's OK Tim, I INSIST!!

Paul and Phil: Believe it or not the Ore cars are Testors Orange. What I have found is the "anti red eye" light on the camera changes the hugh. If it wasn't so convienient I'd be back to my old Nikon SLR stuff in a flash.

Jim I love the Colours but you may want to invert the colour of the Mountain and the lettering to aqua as it will stand out better. Just a thought.

As for the "champagne fountain or a baptismal font under that trestle?" It's strictly Baptismal by Fire here. That or soldering iron burns, which I may add is down this month, thank you very much! No the opening under the trestle is a channel to the Marina. Which I haven't decided on if it will be a Scout Camp Boat Shed or some hole in the wall kinda place. I'm working on it.

Noah and Der John I'll let you know how the Cold Heat works as soon as I can find batteries to fire it up. I couldn't "resist" it as the it was on sale last week for $30 Cdn.

Well that's it for me as the Window guys will be here this morning and I will be going out and buying my Mountain bike, if all goes according to plan today.

Good Mornin' Everybody,
It's a gray, rainy day in the mountains today. Last night we had some pretty severe thunderbumpers blow through. Lots of lightning and wind, but no hail or damage. It's supposed to be rainy and cool all day today. I've got a few odds and ends to get done this morning, then the afternoon will be spent railroading. It's time to start making up the air pipe runs for the Southern light mountain. All the other piping is hung, the smokebox face is done, so the air pipes are next. It's not really hard, just fiddely and time consuming. I tend to waste a fair amount of wire in the process, too. Actually most of it can be used for shorter pieces, It just usually takes several tries to get the bends right.

Oleirish, welcome to the coffee shop. Others have already brought you up to speed on what goes on around here, so I'll say welcome and enjoy. It's a really nice place to hang out.

Teffy, the turntable looks really good. The layout pics are great. I really like the curved yard. I think they are much more attractive than yards that are arrow straight.

Capt. Turk, Keep us posted on the progress on the live steamer. Now that sounds cool. Since everybody has their own form of madness anyway, that sounds like a really good one to have.

Matt, yes the Model Power Sharks are made by Roco. They run very well, despite what I'd always heard about Model Power. With a little detailing and a nice L&N paint job, they will look really good. They're also quiite heavy, so they should pull well. I was impressed with them.

Ken, sorry about the spelling on your name. I try to type carefully and proofread. but that one just got by me.

Flip, blue and gray makes a really nice color scheme. Central of Georgia used that combo for years, and they had some beautiful locos.

Pennysperson and Grubby, you two really got a lot of work done over the weekend. Congratulations on time very well spent. I'm envious.

Selector, your " To do list" sounds very familiar. We spent some time yesterday afternoon out in the yard, just enjoying the sunshine and looking at what needs to be done. It's about time to get started out there.

Fergie, the layout is looking good! The curved trestle really turned out well. That is a really good looking loco. I too, like "basic black" on a freight loco. Particularly when the alternative is that other color.

Ted, your layout sounds good. It's always nice to find another Southern Rwy. modeler.
What kind of locos are you running?

Der, have a great week with the grandkids and friends. That's as good a reason to slow progress on the railroad as there is. Enjoy!

Cat Tom, it sounds like you had a really good afternoon. Running the railroad with friends is a lot more fun than just running it. I like reefer blocks too. They just really look good. There wasn't much reefer traffic on the real Murphy Branch, but there will be on mine.

Lupo, the cinnamon rolls look wonderful. Thanks for bringing them in. " I need more space" has to be one of the most expressed sentiments in model railroading. Just two or three more feet in either direction would make a big difference on mine. Oh well. I do know what what you mean.

Fergie, I think there is some natural herding tendency with cinnamon rolls, doughnuts and things like that. Wherever the leader goes, they all tend to follow.

I'd better go for now and get some stuff done.
Have a great day, everybody,
Ga. Tom

Good Morning Coffee Club!

A tall OJ for me today, trying to fight off a sore throat again. Hey Ed, keep them fresh picked oranges coming el norte!

A warm welcome to all the new people! [#welcome]

Well, the weekend blew by so fast with all the activities I felt like I was running a two day marathon race! Cub Scouts, floor grouting, my dad's 70th birthday dinner, haircuts, gardening, and of course church on Sunday. Whew!!!! I hate to admit it but sometimes coming back to work is more relaxing!!!!

I grouted about a 1/4 of the train room tile yesterday, I am very encouraged with the speed and ease of grouting. The tile is now really dressed up with that grout in place, it's like putting on an evening gown on a naked lady! Really getting close now on the completion of the project, a few hours here, a few minutes there. Juggling all the activites and getting the project done has been the real challenge!

Siberianmo,
Great layout you have there, you really did a great job on the mountain and the passenger station looks great! What are the diminsions of your layout? Ah ha! You already answered that question. Thanks anyway! Great job!

Duke.
The mech. seat and a push might be a good idea! I really prefer the original layout design plan with the bridge/duck-under, the track design just looks better.

Bob (teffy),
I have never done any canoeing in Texas. Is the Guadaloupe near the west side of Texas? The name is familiar, I remember visiting the Guadaloupe Mountains which were just south of Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. Also, great photos of the layout work, I like that round table too!

Flip,
Sure, let's see your trolly! I think you sent me a photo of it already, unless it is another one you have! Yep, taking photos with a Kodiak could be troublesome.

Ken,
I.T. guy huh! I'm an I.T guy too! And I wonder how long I'll be abe to keep this job before they find some way to outsource it too! Job security is not what it used to be, I just hope to stay on the ride for as long as they will keep me!

***,
I keep seeing the Weather Channel and all that snow seems endless! Seems like the west could use some of what you guys are getting, drought predictions are already coming in for portions of the west this summer.

Tim,
Glad to hear of the fun BD day at LegoLand! I will have to add that to my list of must see places.

Lupo,
Thanks for the breakfast rolls, but I already ate so I'll save one for a snack later.

Well, gotta go for now!

Good Morning fellow clubbers. Chloe, I'll have an OJ smoothie along with a few of lupo's cinnamon rolls.

Not much new happening here. Still have a few sore muscles from my Saturday adventure, but getting better. None of what recently I did is worth photographing (you can see that type of stuff at the Home Depot or Lowes website), but sometime within a few weeks, I hope to be posting photos of my DB&WT (Digital, Benchwork, & Wishful Thinking) - by that time it will have been acquired by CSX and renamed the "Iron Belt Subdivision".

Fergie, the Brute is lookin' good; ditto for Teffy's turntable and pit. Almost makes a culturally-deprived dieseler like myself want to model the steam era.

Attaboy, good to hear Enola is alive n' thrivin' - maybe I'll take a Sunday drive up there soon.

Mitchell, I'm glad you weren't affected by any of those killer storms (yet) [:O].

Hello Silverspike, nice to see another IT guy here, I agree with you about that job security thing - not much we can do other than keep re-inventing ourselves, I guess. I'm 17 years away from retirement, hoping I can stay with my gov't-contractor employer for the duration.

Good morning - here are some photo's of my progress with the Polar Express shelf system - still have lots to do, but this will give a visual to that which I have been talking about.

But BEFORE getting into them - I OWE YOU ALL 'DRINKS ON ME' - apparently I was a 'page starter' some time ago and failed to recognize it. Order what you will ......... [tup] (What does cyber money look like?[:)])

I plan to visit some wallpaper stores to locate some borde strips for the background. My thoughts are that a night sky with either snow or stars will really bring out the theme for my Polar Express.

Now to some replies:

John Wood - Fergie - Teffie: From the photo's you've provided, no doubt who the modelers are! Great work indeed and obviously lots of talent to go along with it.

See, I'm handling it well.

Well, I cannot speak for the other guys - but my point is that the "fun" kicks in AFTER your SD's arrive. Then you'll be able to say, "This was really worth the wait!"[:)]

By the way, Amazon does sell some train stuff - depends on the gauge.

QUOTE: Siberianmo, the layout is awesome. It really looks great. 4K trees! Your friend is right, you can never have enough trees. I'm not keeping count, but I've only gotten a little scenery done so far, and I'm already up to many, many of them.

Tom - Thanx! That friend of mine was over last night and we oooohed and ahhhed over the Polar Express, then went down to the trainroom for his "fix" with watching the HO layout. He's a character from the get go - wants me to put a DC3 into the side of "Mt. Mayer" (named after him) - thinks that the tail section would look "neat" sticking out of the mountain. Sicko! And he's an airline pilot!!

Trees? You betcha - you'll get more.[:)]

QUOTE: Siberianmo: Don't know how you guys can handle those "slurpies - gloppies - … creamies - smoothies," and whatever else has overtaken a good cuppa Joe!

They haven’t taken over. I still start and end my day with good strong coffee. But at around 4 in the afternoon a smoothie isn’t all that bad. I hadn’t tried one until a week or so ago when I finally got talked into making one. Came out really good, kind of like a fruity milkshake. I even made one with left over coffee (with bananas, yogurt, honey, and cinnamon)!! Yum.

By the way, it occurs to me that you said Carol was from Newfoundland, but I don’t remember you saying what part? Just curious.

Well, I'm a "two cuppa" and my Joe has to be decaf - doc's orders from a long time ago. But those are BIG mugs! Used to drink at least 20-25 cups per day .... Can you imagine being in on the groundfloor of an operation like "Starbucks"? This trendy stuff has overtaken me only in my failing to comprehend it all. Flavor beer has me at a loss too. I thought it already HAD flavor?

My bride is NOT from Newfoundland - originally from Ontario. I think perhaps you got the Newfoundland connection from my comments about my port calls to St. John's and Argentia - many of them - and the accompanying stories to tell.

By the way, still looking for you on the Trains - Railroads discussion group - topic: CANADIAN PASSENGER TRAINS - Let's Talk!

Appreciate the accolades. See my comments above about what my pilot friend thinks would be a "great idea" regarding HIS mountain!
==============================================

That's it for awhile ..... got get going. Juneau is tugging at my sleeve as I type this final sentence - I wonder what he could possibly want?[:D]

Afternoon all

My latest ebay purchase has finally arrived - the pair of German Lilac and Cream/Grey coaches I mentioned a while ago:

Interestingly they turn out to have Rowa's own close couplings fitted - they have NEM pockets designed to swing on curves (as with most European HO coaches) but also a neat autocoupler design that's unlike any I've seen before - think I'll keep those between the pair and fit Fleischmann Profi-couplers to the outer ends.

Good Morning, all, and Zoe, I'll have one of Lupo's cinnamon rolls and a decaf.

Mitch, got your email - love that graphic! Will implement both of your suggestions and post my third revision here later. You're right - I'm gonna go with the white lettering. Shows up much better. As one book of my daughter's (from when she was younger) said, "Simple pictures are best." I'm sure most railroads would want to reduce how many colors they used for painting their engines.

Northern Phil, I think the weather's heading past us and GA Tom must be hanging onto it - or is that Flip who's hogging the good weather?[;)] We're back in the cooler today, with some wet snow forecasted for about Wed., and another batch around the weekend.

Siberianmo, you'll need a stepladder to fully appreciate the Polar Express branchline, I believe! [:)] You're making very good progress on getting that built, too.

Got some paperwork to finish up (and not the kind Ahnold wants to tax, either.[}:)])

Hi, everyone. I have breakfasted, Zoe, but I'll take a double-double...and that fruit smoothie of Tim's is an eyecatcher. Could you bring one to me in about ten minutes?

(Is it just me, or is she putting on weight?)

Haven't been to Canadian Tire yet. Wife is out sanding the ocean-side steps in preparation for staining. All the door jambs on the south side of the house are in dire need of stripping and repainting. Man, the sun and salt air are HARD on things!!

Matt, those pax cars are verrrry nice looking. How do they run?

Tom W., I planted garlic and Glads yesterday, but don't know what I'll get in today. We need new seed for the leafier veggies, so I must acquire those. My Dad is a snowbird who stays in Bullhead City, AZ, for several months of the year, and he is relying on me to get his raised beds planted. Work, work, work. Well, not really, I guess, but it means less time here and at my layout.

Siberianmo, it's a struggle, but we seem to be able to lift our 'project' back to the front page every now and then. It is getting heavier, though.

Silver Spike, that does sound like quite an undertaking! Is your RR ready to go, or is the tiling just the first in a long series of steps to get there?

Oops, She Who Must be Obeyed is giving me the eye.

(Gulp)

Later.

Evening all

Well, as posted earlier the coaches have arrived. In other good news, I recieved emails today to the effect that my 2 lectures on Friday have been postponed, so after 2pm on Wednesday I'm on easter break - restarting April 11th. Plan for this break? finally get my scenery done! I need to finish painting the backscene and make up some linking sections to cover the board joint - my current plan for these involves some offcuts of thin rubber grip-matting (the stuff you can buy by the roll to put on shelves, tables, etc to stop stuff sliding around) cut to fit and with scatter, lichen etc glued on - should hide the joint well and be easy to move for transport.

Had an interesting encounter this afternoon - followed a brand-new Land Rover Discovery (Series 3) for about 5-10 miles on my way home. They've ruined the aesthetics of it to my mind, and it doesn't seem any better than my '96 Series 1 Disco in terms of acceleration and handling - was able to cruise along happily behind it without any effort! Bottom line, I'd rather have my truck than a new one - mine has mechanical components instead of piles of highly-strung microchips...

Steve, nice photo of the prototype Deltic there - pity it doesn't run! Last I heard was that the Deltic Preservation Society were being allowed to take a look at it with a view to working out what it needs to return to running order - apparently the big problem is the power units (NRM won't let them modify it to take the production type and the originals are in a bad way)? I keep meaning to find a cheap Lima '37 chassis and fit one of the Dapol "Deltic" bodyshell kits onto it - wouldn't be the finest runner but it'd be a lot cheaper than a Bachmann chassis!

Crandell, yup, they're very nice coaches. Not run them any distance yet though all wheels seem in gauge and free-rolling. The boxes were interesting too - they have a grey plastic base with moulded track, then a clear plastic top that holds the model in place - very nice presentation in that you can see the contents properly. Only snag is that Rowa went out of production a while ago, though they're well worth hunting down on ebay - I have these two and the Silberlinge driving trailer pictured in my sig, though I'll be looking out for more in future!

Bye for now

Hey all. How is everyone doing. We (I) are (am) good. Zoe/Chloe I'll have an old american classic. A cheeseburger, fries, and an ice cold coca-cola. For dessert, I'll have an A&W rootbeer float. yum-yum.

Teffy, Railroading_Brit, siberianmo, those are some cool photos.

Lupo, thanks for the rolls. I think I'll have a couple of'em.

Mitch, good to see you again. Oh, I found out where the deep frier was moved to. It is now two doors down, on your left. Three doors down is the BR, so if you hear flushing when you open the door, you've gone too far.[:D]

hello everyone.... I know it's been a while since I have posted.... nothing new going on with me.

Weather here is So Cal has been strange the past week.... in the 80's and 90's last week and later in the week we were getting fog then yesterday it rained in portions of LA.... didn't make it far enough east to hit me... but the last couple of days it's only been in the 50's and 60's which is very nice compared to the 90's.

well I'll see you all later.

Well, I’m in here fast, lots of homework. But I do have good news to tell. I plan on joining a new HO scale Modular club, forming now, and we hope to get going soon. They actually had one meeting already, although I couldn’t make it at as it was at night during the week. But, it looks like (It may change) that our next meeting (my first) will be before the April NMRA meet. I really can’t wait, it’ll be fun to display something at a train show finally, assuming I ever get anything built.

Well, I better get going, Busy, busy, busy!

Sounds good Noah - especially if they have their meetings when you can attend! And it helps sometimes to have someone who's gonna ask when you show up, "What've you been doing?" (and actually can see our face when we say "oh, a bunch")[:)] Being 'accountable' (I think that's the fancy word) keeps us motivated - and honest. Not that I think you've been lying - I've seen your pics, and as I said earlier, you do good great work! But it gives us a deadline, like "I sure want to have something done to mention/bring to the next meeting".

Hmm, come to think of it, I could use something like that. My problem is, the group in this area's contact person's email bounced, so I have no one to get in touch with...[:(]

So is there a theme for the club's modules (overall)? Well, write and fill us in after homework's done.

Blessings,

Good Afternoon Coffee Clubbers,

Sun came out with a vengeance today [8D] and the temperature was up in the low 90’s at 1:00. Fortunately it has clouded over and dropped somewhat. But more of the same forecasted for the week. We need some rain.

Back out to the orange grove today. Trees have started to flower already. Shipment northbound of juice and fruit continue as before (and probably with the same illegible waybills – who knows where they’ll wind up). [:)]

On the culinary front, today’s “Adventure in Smoothieland” was made with yogurt, orange juice (what else), bananas, strawberries and cantaloupe. [C=:-)]

QUOTE: TomCat: "Of course," he pontificated, "Only reason for an Articulated in California, to haul trains of refrigerator cars."
I’m with the good Father. But then I like reefers better than ore cars. Tough to ship oranges in hoppers.

I’m probably going to be sorry I asked, but is a “blintz” just a filled crepe? Is it like the “smoothie of the solid food world” in that you can throw just about any filling inside?

Not to worry ***, the closest apple tree to Paradise is at least a three hour drive away up in the mountains. Now we do have some grapefruit down here. By the way, “Indian River” fruit was what we always were accustomed to as kids in Connecticut.

QUOTE: (northern)Phil: Hows the tennis going? They decide it wasn't worth chasing the balls, or did golf just sound better?
No, went fine. Junior is still young enough and excited enough to chase the balls. And, as you would expect, there were a bunch to chase. But they liked it and I expect we’ll try to play more. Golf was yesterday. There was a movement afoot to go back for more tennis this afternoon, but someone fell asleep after coming back from the orange grove! [:0] [zzz]

Lupo, good to hear from you again.
QUOTE: Have been sketching planns for the layout, found out I need more space for it DUH like I could not see that coming.
I’ve never heard anyone say they needed “less” space. [(-D]

QUOTE: Ryan: Is the Guadaloupe near the west side of Texas?
No, it’s in the Texas Hill Country east of Austin and San Antonio and just west of Houston. And it’s the Mexican spelling of Guadalupe, without the “o”. Try this link:

Noah, that’s good news about a modular club forming. Having access to a club is usually a good thing. Virtual modeling buddies can’t replace real live people.

Nice shot of the Shinkansen, Steve. I was a bit surprised that the National Railway Museum had foreign equipment. I had a couple of chances to ride on the bullet train back in 1985 during visits to Japan. Very nicely done. I was impressed by their control of the system, including having marked on the platform exactly where to stand to be in front of the doors when the train stopped.

Be good. Hope to see you all tomorrow.

Good evening all.

I've been so busy with work that I had all but given up on Gloetown. Well, yesterday, our daughter Cathy dropped in for a visit with Christopher, one the grandsons, he is 10. We had not seen him in a while. After catching with with nanny (Gloria) he asked to see the train. To see his eyes and answer all the questions he had was just wonderful. He ask if he could come back and check on the progress... Talk about a good swift kick in the cabbose... So now I really don't have a choice and must get back into building the layout. BTW, my answer to his question was: "Any time you want to come in, just call me." [^][^][:D][:D][tup][yeah]

Now here is something from us to you for St Paddy's day. www.ladyskylar.com/swffiles/irisheyes.swf

I've not read all the posts, too many to really make a difference but I do notice that some of you have really busy, and quite a few pics appearing. Great work to every body.

A very large [#welcome][#welcome][#welcome] to all the new faces here. This a is the most enjoyable place. As one of more regular pointed out, this is the social side of your local model railroad club. Do drop in often and have fun with us.

Flip - Our prayers with Deb and you tomorrow.

Well, must get going for now

Have you tried the club finder on the Model Railroader Magazine home page?
http://www.trains.com/clubs/findaclub.asp

Or the one on the Worlds Greatest Hobby home page:
http://www.greatesthobby.com/wgh/directory/clubs.asp
They show one in Scott City.

I think the NMRA site has a club finder too, not sure.

Hi clubbers. Have about 8 notes I made to add my 2cents in but Luc's note has sent me off kilter. I am nervous about Deb's operation tomorrow. She saw the Dr. today and he claims it isn't as serious as the first. Doing some scratch-building on the spinal discs. Removing spurs [is he a modeler?] and putting in a metal plate to prevent pressure on the nerves. Working on numbers 4 thru 7.
Thanks for all the previous prayers, I'm not ashamed to ask for more.
Love you all. Thanks for your friendship and all the laughter you have provided.
I'll post tomorrow nite, whenever I get back from the hospital. Goodnight,
Flip

Sorry Flip, I didn't mean to "MESS" you up!!!

It is only normal to worry about these sort of things and the ones you love. I can understand what you're going through and why.

No matter how often family and Friends will tell you everything will be fine, you still worry.

Gloria and I will be thinking of you both.

Evening all--windy March day out here in the Sacto Valley, not a good day to open the garage, and since the EIP (Extension In Progress) is right INSIDE the garage door, I'm holding off, at least until the winds die down this evening. Temp fell about 15 degrees from two days ago, so at least we're sort of back to the right season around her.

Paul: Nope, no ore cars, sorry to say. I'm using the 2-8-8-4's like the Rio Grande did during WWII when they borrowed them from the Missabe while the lakes were frozen over. Hauling just about anything. Reports are that the Rio Grande engineers said they were the best steamers they ever ran, so I've 'bought' some Baldwin duplicates and renumbered into a fictional Rio Grande 3900 L-140 series. These guys are doing what neighboring SP did with their AC's--hauling reefer trains. Not prototypical, but it made my Priest happy, last night, LOL!

Ed: As far as I know, you're right about the Blintzes, though the dough is a little thicker than a crepe. Of course, Zoe makes Spooky's Tuna Blintzes out of salmon skin instead of Crepe dough, so the term is pretty fanciful.

Well, speaking of Spooky, said cat is whacking my ankles reminding me that it's time for LAW & ORDER SVU, so it's time to placate her. Hopefully I'll get some work in tonight after the wind dies down. Supposed to be calm tomorrow, so I should be able to get a days worth of plastering and foam cutting in.
Later,
Cat/Bridge Tom [:P][:P]

Good evening all. Started rerouting the electrical wires downstairs this evening. Whoever wired this house must have enjoyed looking at spaghetti. It took me an hour just to figure out which breaker to turn off. The breaker panel isn't completely labeled either. Why isn't anything as easy as it should be? [%-)]

Flip, hope everything goes well with Deb's surgery tomorrow.

The pics everyone is posting look great. Hope my first attempt turns out half as good. If I ever get it started, seems like it's always getting pushed back farther for some reason.

See you later.

Flip our thoughts, well wishes and prayers to you and yours as I'm sure it will go well for both of you

Fergie

I'll be off for the next day or two as the pewter is being sent in for purging.

I got the Budd Car decodered and lit with LED's today and I got three other Locos programmed. Layed a river bed and drank coffee. Not bad for a day's play.

Later Gents
