While visiting a fellow model railroader a while back I happened across a magazine article on how to build an operating grade crossing. It described moving the gates up and down by means of a wire that changed length when a current was applied. At the time I was not interested in building a grade crossing so I failed to note the issue that the article was in. Scince then It occured to me that this wire might have other uses. I scearched through my friend's library looking for this article with no success. If I knew the issue, I could find it again. I would like very much to obtain some of this wire. Does anyone recall this article? Any help in finding it again would be greatly aprieciated. By the way, my friend's library contains back issues of Model Railroader, Model Railroading and Model Railroad Craftsman. I have searched all three back to 1996. Maybe I missed it? Please send any replys to nwdstek@bluemoon.net Thanks, Ed
