And what, pray tell, was that point?

Just wondering,
Daniel

P.S. Remember: the subject is the noun performing the action, the direct object is the noun undergoing the action, and the indirect object is the noun to which the action is performed. Want an example? "I bought a computer for my uncle." In this sentence, "I" is the subject, "computer" is the direct object, and "my uncle" is the indirect object. Additionally, a sentence needn't have a direct nor indirect object, just a subject and a predicate.....My grammar teacher would be horrified. Or, maybe surprised that I actually remember this stuff. Now, as for prepositional phrases.....[:)][:D][8D].

I am such a snob.
