Power Routing vs. Non-Power Routing

<P>I am running an HO scale 16'x12' shelf style layout with two large peninsulas. I have over 40 turnouts. Your replies so far are exactly what I am talking about. It seems no one really has a concrete answer for the question of power routing vs. non-power routing for DCC. There must be some basic advantage of one over the other for DCC.</P> <P>I have read Allan Gartner's website and he recommends 'non-power routing' for DCC. Boy, this is confusing.</P>
