You should make sure that these models are the ones covered by the Walthers new franchise agreement with Rivarossi. Then, these models will carry a one year warranty. The prior franchise agreement was with Modelexpo that has been terminated but there are a lot of those locos still in the pipe line and on the dealers shelf. We have over 50 in this town and all without warranty. Some of the bigger locos, in addition to the allegheny, also have the new allegheny drive in them. Investigate before you buy.
