Broadway Limited Web Site ????
Posted by CAZEPHYR on Monday, April 9, 2007 9:22 PM

I went to the Broadway Limited WEB site tonight and it is not there.  The PCM site shows up in the place of the BLI web site.  Has anyone else tried the site???

Let me know what you get.

Thanks

They may have gotten tired of maintaining two seperate websites and did a merge or built just one website for both.

In my opinion they really need to just form one company and keep it that way. BLI, PCM and FDT.. what's next? Too confusing.

Cazephyr,

Looks like it's working now.  Is that the same page you were getting?  [Edit: Noticed you provided the link after I typed the response.  Yep, that's the same page.]  It definitely has a different look to it.  Maybe they were working on revamping the web site.

BLI and PCM have apparently merged their websites. I have a link in my Favorites - Windows Internet Explorer to both websites. Clicking on either one brings me to the same place.

A few moments tinkering brings up this:

http://broadway-limited.com

66.216.82.80

ARIN Resolves this IP to:

OrgName:    Rackspace.com, Ltd.
OrgID:      RSPC
Address:    9725 Datapoint Drive
Address:    Suite 100
City:       San Antonio
StateProv:  TX
PostalCode: 78229
Country:    US

NetRange:   66.216.64.0 - 66.216.127.255
CIDR:       66.216.64.0/18

The Parent IP resolves directly to ARIN who issues IP Addresses for the net in the USA.

My feeling is that BLI,PCM arranged for a host to carry thier new websites or... replaced the old website with the new one.

I was hoping the address will resolve to BLI's headquarters but apparently a third party is hosting the servers for them.

One Website for both brands is enough and it clearly shows both logos (BLI & PCM). They also have some new announcements and lately they updated the website pretty often.

I don't need two separate website when one can give me the same information.

There are changes going on for sure at PCM  /  BLI or whatever.

By using Google to search for Broadway Limited, the following combined site shows up:

http://www.broadway-limited.com/store/index.cfm

This is exactly the same as originally posted, and has been the combined BLI/PCM site for some time because it is the same one I bookmarked two or three months ago.

The BLI site was on line until last weekend and vanished yesterday.  This is their new web site with all of the products on one page with the PCM name on the web site and the BLI products listed under PCM.

I have gotten used to the website.

I have to say that they are updating several times a month but felt that they need to have better oversight on the pictures and imagery. I realize that hosting pictures cost money but not having updated photos of pre-production or newly announced items is extremly discouraging to see the same old worn out picture with the words "No photo availible"

They need to have the camera man working again and actively keep the pictures rolling on that website.
