QSI Upgrade Chip for the BLI E7's - Info Needed
Posted by Daniel1975 on Sunday, February 18, 2007 3:52 AM

Hello

I want to upgrade my fleet of Broadway Limited E7's and I looked at several sites to get as much info as I need to do that.

Today I've "read" or better I listened to my engines to get the exact model & series numbers but I still don't know which chip I exactly need! This really is frustrating as there are so many different ones and I don't want to get me the wrong ones.

Maybe someone here can help me?

My C&NW's have told me they are: 119   6.9   22 November 2004

The UP ones are : 100      5.0      07 October 2003

All others are:    100    5.1     11 March 2004

The C&NW are in need of 119-0 or 119-1?

The UP ones need either 100-0 or 100-1?

The rest need either 100-0 or 100-1?

Does anyone have any advice or did someone have the same problem?

Thanks in advance!

I have just been waiting it out on the chip so far. Problems w/ one E7 have been driving me nuts. For no reason it will loose the drive, still have other sound. A reset cures it only to randomly happen some time later (like during a show).

I can only hope that the upgrade will solve the problem.
