What is the ratio of good to bad? If only a few of the 50 are cracked, why worry? It seems a pretty inexpensive solution, even when you consider "throwaways". If you need to fill them in order to make it economical, how about a mix of baking soda and CA (crazy glue).? This is what is recommended for filling voids in resin kits. Just pack in the baking soda, and then soak it with liquid (not gel) CA. Might take the paint a little differently though... Let us know how you work it out. Andrew
