PC, whats the estimated date of completion of the house? Looks good with the second story on. Guess the roof is next. It's always amazing to me how fast something like this can be done, then I look in my backyard at one of my storage sheds and wonder if/when I'll ever get the shingles put on to finish off that roof...always faster when someone else is doing it, unless it's your own kids.[(-D]

T think I'm going out today or tomorrow to get the foundation material for my layout...have a large upstairs room (24'x32'), but too overwhelming looking at the whole room, so I'll start in one corner. Perfect weather day here in the central Shenandoah Valley today...cooler, no rain, just made for a ride. Might have to cruise over to the warm springs for a soak.

I just purchased this week three old-time passenger coaches and two old-time flat cars for my steam only layout, all on eBay. I actually teach a class on eBay at the local community college, and it has been interesting listening to the different comments on the camera sale by James earlier. I have over 900 feedbacks and consider myself lucky to still have a 100% rating. There are just too many nuts, inconsiderate people and con artists out there to expect each and every transaction will go smoothly and properly. Factor in the US Postal Service rules and handling, and you have a recipe for conflict. The final nail in the coffin is eBay itself. Their fees are too high for what they do, and the market will correct this in the very near future. As for James' situation, receiving negative feedback and a request for a refund on a camera that purportedly didn't work soon after receipt...eBay and PayPal can be your worst enemy as the seller. If a complaint is filed with PayPal, presuming payment was made via PayPal, they can actually reverse the payment without your (the seller's) consent. On the negative feedback, once it is posted, it is vitually impossible to remove as the seller. James, your best bet is to post a response to the negative stating camera worked, sold as is, etc, in the abbreviated apce eBay provides for explanation/response. Most future buyers will look at your overall feedback and realize this negative was a kook. If you are selling something the other party wants, one negative with a reasonable response (be polite and cool, calm & collected) will not affect future sales. As everyone knows who has tried to contact eBay about something like this, that's a waste of time. They don't really have the time, interest or resources to help you. Just a fact. Ebay has many positives, and some negatives. Fixing feedbacks (accuracy) is one of the negatives. Happy Model Railroading to all!

IndySon
