Spectrum K-4

Hi all,

HO scale

I have aquestion about an earlier Spectrum K-4 locomotive.

It is in the larger flip up top black box, and the locomotive itself has the silver outer rings of the driving wheels, instead of the newer black ringed driving wheels.

How does this earlier version compare to the newer version with motor, traction, noise, current draw, pulling, etc.

All info welcomed.

I think the newer one has a flywheel & a DCC socket.   The motor   may be different also.
