Better to go 22" or 24" <br /> <br />You can by cutting into the frame and trucks get it to go around 6 " radii but they are building engines now bigger and longer and 18" radius no longer gives good tradeoff except in the yard or branch line. <br /> <br />Houses and domiciles get ever smaller and we seem to be building em big and long to try and capture vision of the long ago lionel trains running on 20 x 30 layouts.
