[/quote] Because slicing it out with a razor blade and placing a single piece of paper on the scanner is about a thousand times easier, and gets you a way better scan than trying to smash a bound magazine onto the scanner with the inner edge of the page curling up, etc. Guys, cutting up a model train magazine isn't a sin you know.
