I'm using DCC. It's like microwave ovens and electic dishwashers. Utter nonesense until you have one. Then it's "how did I live without it?" Because of DCC (CVP's EasyDCC)there are NO CONTROLS on my layout's fascia. None are needed. I use wireless walkaround. The first time I tried it it was like getting the braces off your teeth, FREEDOM!!!! If you operate stickly solo, however, I'm not sure it would be worth it. How many trains can you run by yourself? <br /> <br />Ed
