O scale help
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, November 5, 2006 9:27 PM

I think I am going to develop an O scale model.  Who are the manufacturers?  I want better than average quality but not collector quality (or price).  I am familiar with Lionel 3 rail.  I don't think I need 2 rail but probably need to learn more about that.  I guess I would like good quality, commonly stocked stuff.  Any help out there?

I dont model O but i own it for around the X-mas tree the brands i own are MTH and Lionel and Weaver
The MTH engines are very durable and reliable and witht the proto sound 2.0 its very realistic with the sound and more. I also have a lionel steam engine with does not have sound but is reliable. I dont own weaver loco's but i own some of there freight cars they Ok dont have any realy problems with them. But i mainly have mth , Railking rolling stock ect.. and Lionel Track and power supply. I persoanly would go with MTH but lionel are very good products and well known aswell.
