lothar, <br /> <br />stop trying to fool yourself. that building will not be controllable until insulated properly. <br /> <br />spray 3" of foam on the ceiling, and put batts in the walls. <br /> <br />when i lived in such a structure once, the ice would melt off the ceiling and upper walls; flow down the walls and refreeze about 1/3 the way up from the floor. while the heat was on full blast nonetheless.
