I LIKE THE I C E 3 and T G V . REALLY COOL AND FAST. WE NEED THIS KIND OF SYSTEM HERE IN THE STATES. AMTRAK IS STILL WAY BEHIND.

Just occured to me, the title of the post should be "What is your favorite railroad?" not the locomotive. This is based on the selection of railroad carriers, not locomotives. However, I think the locomotive list would be very extensive .

Canadian National, any railroad that also owns the tallest structure on the planet (CN tower, Toronto) has got my vote. Lets see CSX or BNSF do that.
