Train station Kit
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, September 7, 2006 6:58 AM

I am considering making this Station into a kit. The only change I would make is that instead of brick, it would be all wood siding.

Please let me know what you think of the building and what/ if any suggestions you have.

Thanks,

David

Actually, I'dather see it in brick, there's already a ton of wood siding kits out ther, especially stations. JMHO.

I have to agree with Jay.......................I'd rather see a brick station than a wooden one.

I don't care for the oversized dormers on this building. I like the 2 color brick though and the general size and arrangement.

Strange building, dormer was added later, probably would not be a big seller.  Reproduce the Horseshoe  Meadows Station that was done many years ago in wood and you would get alot of takers. Have you done a kit before, I was resurching doing it and as I got all my figures together someone else anounced a simular product, so back to the drawing board.

Interesting building.  I would want it replicated accurately, so I agree that it should be brick.

Yup...A VERY interseting building! I like it in brick also and really can't envision it as a wood structure.
I too, like the two-tone brick, but have to wonder if the dormer is on some sort of banned "growth hormone" substance as it looks VERY out of proportion. I don't like that part at all...Way to weird looking!

There are lots of good wood stations in Canada to pick from if you want a wood one.  The Merritt CPR station would be a good choice  Big Smile [:D]
