I certainly wasn't anticipating my September MR to show up in the mail today - but I'm definitely not complaining!

Looks like a good issue too.

I received mine today and it was a complete mess. The cover arrived detached from the magazine and the first five pages were ripped on the top. And then, to top it all off, some of the track plan on page 59 was ripped out. BUT, I will have fun reading it!

Bud, no longer waiting for retirement!

Got mine today, too.  Looks like an O.K. issue - but what really got my attention was the first full-page ad for GMR '07.  While my name or layout is not mentioned on the cover per se, there is a blurb at the bottom that reads "Railroading Down South".  I'm assuming that refers to my MA&G as it is located in rural southern Mississippi.  I can't wait to see not only my second article in print, but also the photos Lou Sassi took of the layout.  I guess I'll have to wait 3 more months to find out.  However, when my first article was published in the April '05 issue, I received an advance copy in the mail - I guess they do this as a courtesy to their contributers.  If that holds true again this time, I'll give ya'll a heads up when I receive it!  Big Smile [:D]
