Just a short note to those in the Highland Village, Lewisville, Flowermound and North Dallas Texas area - Glen and I will be hosting a mini train display at the Village Grill Restaurant in Highland Village, TX this Saturday, August 23rd from 11 am to 3 pm CDT. I am one of the managers of this restaurant.

We will have 2 - 2' x 4' n scale portable modules and 2 - z scale portable modules (one z scale still under construction) there on display. One of the n scale and one z scale are set up for anyone to operate. We have advertised in the local area for parents to bring their kids to have lunch and have an opportunity to be a 'train engineer'. I will be demonstrating scenery making techniques for mountains and landscaping. I have made mock ups of mountains and terrain that the kids can glue ground cover to. Also will show how to make trees that we can 'plant'.

If you are in this area, please stop by and say hello. We are both currently ambassadors for the World's Greatest Hobby and would love to see you there.

Cheers

Judy
Dallas, TX
