I've toyed with the idea of replicating some of those "should be out of service" tracks one sometimes sees in the rail magazines. Track shots usually taken with a telephoto lens to emphasize the bends and distortions of long neglected track.
This image I don't think anyone would want to replicate.

I'd like to hear a recording of the conversation that crew had with the Road Foreman of Engines, the Maintenance of Way Supervisor and the Division Superintendent. Probably blew the office door right off the hinges!

Could've been an older engine like an SD40-2.
