Alpha models, good? not so good?

Hi all,
I saw on a brass dealers page, an unpainted model of an Alpha Models PRR L6 Electric. It looked nice in the photo, but I'm wondering how does it hold up for accuracy and detail?
Thanks in advance
Alvie

Alvie - If this is the Alpha Models I remember, you are talking about brass models that are decades old. I don't recall Alpha staying around all that long either, which may or may not say something about their quality and accuracy. Certainly, they were from a time when a model's looks were often considered more important (i.e. as a shelf model) than operating characteristics.
