RIX Product Switch Stand review
Posted by Milwhiawatha on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 2:46 PM
This past weekend I went to Walthers order a few items and one item was the RIX Switch Stand. I wanted to see how it worked and looked. I ordered 2 and only got one they were sold out after I was there. So my review is

Rix Switch stands are made out of plastic and easily to assemble if your awake. They work beautifully. No glue is really needed, it snaps together yo might need a little the bottom where thehousing connects to the ties. As for paint I used testors red and white for my signals and I will be using Modelflex rail brown mixed with maroon of some sort to make rust unless I can find rust colored paint. But i have tried this stand with Walthers code 83 and it works and looks beautiful. Cant wait to get my order from internet hobbies of 6 more of these stand to add them.

There is my reveiw. I 'm not affiliated with Walthers or Internet Hobbies in anyway.

A picture would be nice to round this out. Preferably one with some Milwaukee engines, coaches or rolling stock in the background. [:D]

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
