I am starting a permanent layout after 40 years, So much has happened and I am trying to catch up. I used to use brass flex track but now I wi***o go with preformed nickel track with attached roadbed. The three front runners seem to be Atlas, Bachman and Life like. Any help, suggestions in assisting my decision will be greatly appreciated by this senior . Thanks for your advice in advance. CURTIS

I have both Bachman E-Z track and Life Like Powerlock track. Both work well once locked together stay together. I know the E-Z track comes with a more realistic gray roadbed instead of black. Life like also makes an adapter to connect its track to that of other makers or regular track without roadbed.I have had problems with the Bachman track bending at the ends by the railjoiners but that might be because I connect and disconnect it alot. I hope I could be of some help to you.
