LED brain cramp

[8D]Hey my MRXRDER friends I have another question for you[?] I want to add lights to my Walthers cornerstone carshop. [:D] The LED's (AMBER)are from Modelec and I have in the pack also 30 resistors. I'm going to install the LED's in the rafters of the building[;)]. Now here's the question, where AND how do I install the resistors to the LED's Please help, my "N" scale crew, they are tired of working around big SD40MAC's in the dark[xx(] !!! 1k resistors in series with each individual LED.
which would be OK for 12vdc[8D]
