I live near Gettysburg, Pa and model the ficntional Golden State Railroad based in northern California. It is a bridge railroad and runs from the south bay throught the San Juaquin valley and up the Sierra Nevada mountains to Medford Oregeon. We connect the 6 major railroads as well as many smaller raods, and serve as the transcontinental bridge to the west coast.

I'm tom I too live in Texas, I'm about 75 miles north of Dallas. I model the Santa Fe premerger from Amarillo,Tx west along with a freelanced road.

My girl friend also likes trains and I'm working on a freelanced road for her as well.
But unfortuneately she lives in the Boston,Mass area and works for the state.

The Texas contingent grows.
