What about the Matt H. Shay, Triplexes ( P-1 2-8-8-8-2 ) [:0][:0] from the Erie RR. Three were built (#s 5014-5016). Yeah these locomotives were very impracticle[:(], but they were built and they were used in service; all be it limited. <br /> <br />Source: "The Erie Railroad Story", published by D.
