Roco was an Austrian company based in Salzburg. Much of their sales depended on the German market which slumped thus causing the Roco to fold up. Yes their products were very good. I have many of their European locomotives and some of the Shark Nose Diesels they produced for Model Power. These are still running and have needed little attention except for cleaning and lubrication even after 20 years. <br />william
